Evaluasi Kinerja Heat Exchanger 05 (HE-05) Pusat Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Minyak dan Gas Bumi Cepu (PPSDM MIGAS Cepu)

The heat exchanger is one of the important units for processing petroleum which acts as a between fluids through solid media. Cepu Oil and Gas Human Resources Development Center (PPSDM Migas Cepu) itself has five exchangers with details three (HE-01 HE-02) arranged horizontally two vertically (HE-03, HE-04, HE-05). HEs have shell tube types same function, namely preheater by utilizing from distillation unit before crude oil enters furnace. In addition to these uses, on HE can also reduce utility costs in form using heater production process. This study aims observe performance HE-05 PPSDM determine whether condition still considered optimal operation. Observations were made quantitative approach method calculation transfer efficiency. results efficiency residual capacity 85,753 liters/day 319,853 liters oil/day are 82.52%. indicates that 05 operation because it above 80%.
